A Nepali who was undergoing treatment for the injuries he sustained during the Monday Kabul suicide attack died on Wednesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said. MoFA spokesperson Bharat Raj Paudyal told THT Online that Chyangwa Tamang from Nuwakot district, who was more critical than other survivors, was undergoing treatment at a Kabul-based health facility. “It is very unfortunate that he died just some minutes ago,” he said.While five of the seven injured were airlifted to New Delhi on Wednesday morning, the two others – who were scheduled to arrive in New Delhi Tuesday itself were left in Kabul, according to Paudyal.“An air ambulance was scheduled to leave Kabul carrying them around two hours ago,” he said, “But, I am yet to confirm if the one injured left in Kabul, besides Tamang, was airlifted to Delhi now.”The MoFA is yet to confirm if Man Bahadur Thapa from Chitwan has been brought to Delhi from Kabul. While Thapa and Tamang were said to have been airlifted to the Indian Capital Tuesday itself, a technical problem in the air ambulance had halted the flight, Paudyal clarified.
